Thank you for your interest in employment opportunities at Plant Washington.
It is essential that as we move closer to the day construction begins we are acquainted
with people like you who are interested in the employment opportunities being offered by the project.
We will keep your information on file and notify you when an employment opportunity becomes available.
Periodically, we will provide you with updates of the power plant.
Please accept our sincerest thanks for your support of Plant Washington and for your interest in working on the project.
Construction Jobs
If all goes as planned, we expect to start the construction phase in the next 18 to 24 months.
The construction phase will last about four years and will require over 1,500 construction
jobs at peak from many different job classifications.
Please take this "gap" time to prepare yourselves for the construction job(s) of your choice.
Check with Sandersville Tech or your local technical
college about training opportunities available locally or guidance as to where to obtain the desired
training that is not available through the college.
Download a copy of the construction job descriptions.
